Welcome to Satmya Retreats
Satmya retreats are about learning and gaining a deeper insight into your body & mind. We have both residential & day retreats available. Our retreats combine Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda wellness classes, Dosha analysis, Ayurvedic Nutrition, cleanses and much more.
On our retreats there is time to relax but this is not the only focus. We encourage participants to partake in our wellness classes and gain a deeper insight into their lives. Our retreats are tailored according to the seasons whilst also paying attention to individual needs.
We choose beautiful & luxurious locations around Ireland. Some of our locations include: Dromoland Castle, Lisnavagh House & Gardens, Springfield Castle and Cliffs of Moher Retreat Centre.
Satmya is a natural medicine & learning centre located in Killaloe, Co. Clare. Satmya was established in 2007 by Doug & Yvette Hyde. We started doing retreats in 2013 as we wanted to offer people a chance to immerse themselves in the Ayurvedic way of living…. read more about Satmya here

Upon retiring from swimming he pursued Ayurveda full time at Ayurveda College, Australia. Under the tutelage of professor Jason Chandler a highly respected Vaidyacharya (Ayurvedic Doctor & Teacher) he studied classical Ayurveda for 4 years.
